The Dream Factory aims to grant wishes and make dreams come true to children and young adults aged 3-25 years who have life threatening conditions or severe disabilities. Any dream is possible and when The Dream Factory says it will take on the challenge of making a wish come true then they will do everything in their power to make it happen in the shortest possible time.
The Family Fund
This Fund helps families with severely disabled children and young people aged 17 and under to have choices and the opportunity to enjoy ordinary life. They give grants for things that make life easier and more enjoyable for the disabled child, young person and their family, such as washing machines, driving lessons, computers and holidays. The Mayor of Barnet’s Benevolent Fund offers small one-off grants to residents of the London Borough of Barnet who are in financial need. To qualify for consideration, applicants must have lived in the borough for at least one year and be in receipt of income related statutory welfare benefits (such as Income Support or Child Tax Credit). Funding can be applied for in the following categories: Household Goods (maximum award - £200), School Uniform (maximum award - £60 per child), essential items for families with a new baby, clothing for adults, and relieving a financial crisis.

Heating and insulation - Barnet Council is working with NHS Barnet and Energise Barnet to identify vulnerable residents who may benefit from available grants to assist with heating improvements and insulation in their home. Watersure scheme may entitle you to financial assistance with your metered bill if anyone in your household receives a specific state benefit, has a large family of three or more children, or a medical condition that requires the use of extra water.
Whizz-Kidz run youth clubs, wheelchair skills training, residential camps and work placements for young wheelchair users all across the UK. They also provide wheelchairs and other mobility equipment.
